The Dyson Blow Dryer does dry my hair quickly. My hair is thick and for years I have spent ages every day getting my hair only mostly dry. Now, with my Dyson, I can dry my hair through. Extra bonus - no hot spots! The Dyson blow dryer does not get my hair or scalp over hot or scorching. Perfect!

My husband gave me a Dyson hairdryer for a gift a couple of years ago. I love the design and placement of the buttons for changing temp and air speed. The air filter is easily slipped down to clean and then just push back up. The engineering design is amazing and love the extra long cord. It dries my hair without making it frizzy and the diffuser tool is also great for natural waves. Love Dyson products, we also have a couple of their vacuums.

Dyson say they “brought in 103 specialists”. They say they “built 600 prototypes”. They say they “analyzed 1010 miles of hair”. But somehow the only solution they could come up with for different voltages around the world was to add a massive transformer brick into the power cable for the US market like total amateurs. An amazing hairdryer totally let down by compromised ergonomics due to a lazy shortcut. To be clear...EU market models are just plug > power cable > hairdryer but I have to tolerate a huge plastic brick halfway up my power cable which bangs against the carrara marble wall when I'm using my beautiful new Dyson hairdryer. It's just not what I expected from Dyson. Get it sorted people.

I have very thick hair and ive tried some different hair dryers before and it always took me about 25 min to fully dry my hair . With Dyson Supersonic hair dryer it takes me 10 min!! Its crazy how fast it works! And its the only hair dryer that helps to keep my hair straight after 2 days!! Much recomended !

This is the best hairdryer I have ever used. I have curly hair, very thick, shoulder length. The combination of the speed of drying, the heat of the dryer and the EXCELLENT diffuser has made this my ONLY hairdryer from now on. Only wish it were dual voltage as I travel a lot to Europe. I'll buy a second European version as I can't imagine going back to the old fashioned hair dryers... I just gave 3 traditional hairdryers away -

After using this dryer a couple of times now I get the hype! It's great. So fast to dry my hair and with the flyaway attachment I can probably get rid of my old flat iron. It makes my hair feel incredibly soft and straight. I feel like I just stepped out of the salon every time.

I added a but because I feel that for the value these dryers should last longer. This is my third one and the same thing happened. For me, it is a good hair dryer but it does not last long. With Dyson's advanced technology, they should find a way to rectify that. This is an expensive tool and cannot die after 3 years (in my case)

I have very curly hair, and even on the lowest setting the dryer emitted far too much heat. I used the diffuser attachment the first day; I dried my hair again without it. In both instances, there was zero curl definition and just a ton of frizz. I returned the product.

I bought this after much deliberation because of the high price. I'm so glad I did!!! I have type 3C curls and usually have to wash my hair in the morning because it takes too long for my hair to dry. My hair was about 70% dry after just 10 minutes of mostly using the cold air and the lowest heat setting when I got lazy.

I have tried the Dyson Dryer for a few months, hover dried, can NEVER put the diffuser in my hair even on Cold low let alone the diffuser is too hot to the touch of my fingers, & not matter what my natural curly hair ends up so dried out & frizzy. Stopped using for several months, only air dried, & tried again. Same exact results. Yes, I use protective hair products before diffuse drying. I just want to return this dryer.
