OPI is a must in the salon. You get what you pay for and opi always out does themselves. This base coat not only works on oily nail beds but always on little finger that get into everything! I love that this base coat not only keeps your color lasting longer but also helps keep them strong. This is definitely a must try! I received this product from influenster to test for free. And honestly I have been buying OPI Gel Polish religiously for the past few years as it is my all time favorite gel polish. The formula of the polish is perfect and it stays on the nail for a long time but is still easy to remove. Doesn't damage your nails at all. Highly recommend all OPI Gel Polish.

Okay so I got this base coat complimentary from OPI and Influenster. I used many different base coats but this one in particular has the best outcome, it made the polish go on smooth with absolutely no texture and protected the nail from any kind of peeling or damage from the polish. This is also a great product if your using specialty powders for nail art such as holographic, you put a thin layer on top of the polish and the powder rubs on beautiful then you take the top coat and then BOOM you got a PERFECT manicure!

I love this base coat! It's goes perfect with the whole system. The consistency is a little tacky allowing the gel color to adhere perfectly. I received this base coat complimentary for testing purposes. I'm a licensed nail tech and I approve this base coat. It's really great.

I was skeptical of the texture of the base gel because it felt quite sticky and a little stringy. However, it went on well and didn't shrink after curing. A thin layer works best. I think the base coat is essential to maintain a long lasting manicure. I was really impressed with this base coat because I usually wear gel polishes, but the polish starts lifting in around a week or so, and I did notice a difference using this base coat. I received this free to test and review from Influenster. I would have liked a little more time to review so I could see how this lasted but it seems to be doing pretty good so far. It's a lot different from what I'm used to. Very sticky! But it has stayed on my 4 year old daughters nails for a few days now (usually bad products would have peeled off by now) with no sign of chipping or peeling. I like that it's a one coat quick application rather than using a primer and a base like I normally do. It doesn't add any volume to the nail but it's nice for regular gel manis!

I've never tried OPI gel base. I prefer something thicker like Luxa. So when I applied OPI Gel Base, I used a thicker layer which resulted in some wrinkles. I went thinner on other fingers and still had wrinkles. It has to go on *super* thin to avoid this. Not so crazy about that. Also, it's very sticky. So I suggest 2 nails at a time so you can get the color layers on and avoid getting lint on your base. I was very lucky to receive OPI Gel Base & Top coat, as well as 4 colors, complimentary from Influenster.

The base coat applied on smoothly and evenly which is required to have a continual smooth application of the next coats. It stayed on when needed and removed well when needed. Would def recommend.
