This is an amazing culinary device! My only comment less than completely positive concerns the shift in center-of-gravity w/risk of dumping backwards when lifting too high by the front handle to move the grill. Perhaps it’s just me and my model with the heavy upgraded stainless steel cooking grate and warming rack, but when I lift by handle to move the grill, I can’t really lift more than like 1/2-1” without it starting to feel top heavy and unstable. I think a small counter weight option on the front leg would be a good idea to address this without making a design change. Weber, please consider me for a royalty should you use this idea! Other than that small observation, I love my Weber and consider it one of the best investments I’ve ever made.

Parents had a kettle when growing up and like many drifted away to gas grills. Was not getting the flavor and versatility that I remember and picked up my new kettle and the quality is still as I remember. Had one small problem due to shipping and Weber was right on top of it and had that part shipped out within a couple days and even delivered on a Sunday!

This is an excellent charcoal barbecue. It is exceptionally well designed, but the best feature is that all the metal is a thick gauge, so you know you can use this as much as you want and you won't need to replace it any time soon. Worth spending a little extra to get a quality product!

This replaced a well worn kettle. The new features on the grill sutface are great additions, the lid holder very handy and the thermometer useful. I also bought a rotisserie ring and that is brilliant! All in all I expect this grill to “see me out” . The quality is up to Weber standards. Don’t waste time with any other grill. Go for the gold standard.

The ash catcher makes for easy clean up. The vent handle makes it really easy to control your heat because it does not get hot. I use Briquette baskets for every use. The top warming rack is useful being I always cook opposite to coals, just wish that grate would extend in the middle to be flush with the ends to give more room rather then it being a U shape. The grill itself, well it’s a Weber there built to last and do what there supposed to do. Been grilling on Weber kettles going on 17years now and if I attempt to grill on any other brand it’s just chaos so if it’s not a Weber I won’t even waste my time

All I can say is this grill makes incredible food. Temp control is very easy to maintain as well. I have a 26" already and added this to my arsenal. With a slow n sear there is more room than I was expecting. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.

The grill was easy to assemble, and much easier to clean up after a cook compared to my last Weber grill. I added a cover to keep it clean when not in use. The top vent handle is very easy to use and the bottom vents are great with the markings to allow for partial open vs. full open vs. full closed. The one thing I tried that didn't work was only removing the center of the cooking grate and trying to use the Weber chimney to start the coals... the handle of the chimney leaned on the outer cooking grate to make it not sit level. Not a big deal.

This grill has been incredible. I got it as a gift, and was thinking I’ll upgrade to another larger grill down the road. However, after grilling with it several times and smoking some ribs on it I don’t think that will be necessary. It has great features and gets the job done. I previously only had propane grills, and the flavor that the charcoal grill gives you is a whole different taste in a good way

Our Master-Touch 22" has been a dream to cook on. In the past 6 weeks we have done ribs, steaks, wings, chicken and several Boston butts. Friends and neighbors have enjoyed the fruits of my labor as well. Very well designed with plenty of cooking space and allows you to control the heat range perfectly. A+++++++ to Weber for a great product!

one of the welds broke on the grill bars that holds the charcoal access flap after only 3 uses. I am waiting to see what the warranty process is like and will definitly change my rating if this issue is taken care of. Other than that it has been great!
