I just love my little charcoal grill. So perfect for the two of us yet plenty of space on the grill to cook for a crowd. I am able to move the grill from the porch to a safe space nearby. The grill is sturdy and yet light enough for me to scoot it along on the wheels.

It's a great basic charcoal grill. You can't go wrong with Weber. The reason I can't give this item 5 stars is because it was missing the screw that attaches the handle on the side/front of the grill, but I had one that worked so it wasn't a big problem. And yes, I checked and double checked all packaging. Probably 3 or 4 times actually. Otherwise, it performs as it should. Ordering from their website was easy and it shipped pretty quickly with good communication along the way.

This is my very 1st review ever, i had to tell everyone about my new grill. I wanted to downsize my grill, its only me %26 my husband now. I Love, Love my new small Weber Grill (it holds alot of meats) cooks food really well, very light weight %26 easy to clean. I put it together myself it was so easy. A must buy.

I have been using a 22" Weber charcoal grill for well over 30 years. I recently decided to downsize to the 18" Weber charcoal grill. My new grill arrived a few days after ordering, and was very easy to assemble until it came to the lid. The lid was not round as it should have been. It was warped and had a slight oval shape to it. After trying to reshape it, with no luck, I called Weber and within 3 days received a perfectly round replacement lid for my new grill. I gave this purchase a 5 star rating even though the grill I purchased was not entirely useable, but for the excellent service and fast response I received from Weber!

The grill is less than a year old, now every time I cook in it, it drips grease from around the edges on to my deck and patio. Very poor design. I asked a question on your website as to what I could do about this, and never got a response. Poor customer service.

We are a couple and wanted a grill larger than the small portables for our home but not too big as to waste charcoal, but big enough to entertain friends. This is a perfect size grill for us! My husband absolutely loves this grill! We also only wanted the Weber brand. It's getting harder to find this in other stores.

I was concerned about the 18" size I purchased to replace a 22" original charcoal kettle, which was not in stock at the time, but it's perfect. Less charcoal used, adequate grill space, less heavy but still substantial not flimsy, easier to store. Assembly took some thought and muscle but took less than an hour. Same great results grilling rib eyes, hot dogs and sausages, foil packets of vegetables.

I do not like gas grills - love the flavor, smoke, and the more soulful feel of charcoal (and smokers...have an 18” Weber Smokey Mtn I love as much as my kettle) . Have been grilling on the 18” original Weber kettle for many years. Love it. Simple, works great, lasts forever, and it's the perfect size for my wife and me (I have a 22 inch too for when we have friends and family over). Such a great product for the price.

I just replaced my 18" kettle after 30 years of service. A bracket that held one of the legs on literally broke off from rust while I was cooking! Held it up with a garbage can for it's last session. The new one has gone through a few cookouts and has performed as expected. It's nice to have a lid that fits! The only drawback I can see is that flimsy ash tray held up with those clamps. It was so awkward to work with that I cleaned up and painted my 30 year old tray which is a simple lift and twist on to the legs one piece affair. Go back to the old one is my recommendation.
