The cutting pliers weren't as sharp as I would've like them to be, but still functional and provide a clean cut. The handles are also very comfortable and seem to be holding very well as I've been using them on a professional level everyday.

There was a clear indication of the Stanley name and brand with the bold black and yellow colors and plastic overmolded design. The tools appear more rugged given those molded features (contours and shapes) and the metal structure forming the basis of each tool give confidence in the strength of each product. I have not used a lot under difficult conditions, so I do wonder about the durability and toughness of the plastic, but given the metal within I could feel the rigidity and strength underneath. The metal parts of the tools are treated with some type of lubricant to most likely protect from any corrosion. While I was not looking for high finish quality (like chrome or polished) these tools did have a very basic lower quality level in that appearance. So while the plastic parts of the tools stood out as a positive the metallization and finish of the metal parts did take away some. Overall for the usage and application this was a good tool set. Packaging of the product was difficult to work in order to remove the tools and would like to see easier access and removal being taken account into that design.

Not only are they incredibly durable but they fit nicely and comfortable in your hands. The handles are bright yellow still they not only look nice but they are easy to find, no matter where I set them down! There is a plier for every job no matter how big or small. They are a great addition for anyone who already has a tool kit and a must for anyone looking to build a nice tool kit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew the size when I ordered these, but I was still surprised by the size and weight when these arrived. These are a great upgrade from more basic pliers sets. These came as I was installing low-voltage outdoor lighting. The diagonal cutters cut through the 12ga wire very easily. The longer handles and heavier head provide extra leverage. The needle nose pliers are a bit wider so you can't get into as small of spots, but they also longer than typical. The teeth offer great gripping power. The linesman pliers worked really well at pulling 16ga nails from trim and wood paneling- the teeth are strong enough to cut right through them as well. The longer jaws of the slip joint pliers have two places to grip fasteners. These handles are chunkier than dipped handle but they're comfortable to use and make it easier to apply more torque.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are possibly the most comfortable hand tools I've ever used they are exactly as advertised. The quality of the jaws on these fantastic. First the needle nose, the jaws are tight enough to hold small items and pull pins. These lineman's pliers are my go to on electrical now. Twisting wires, cutting and holding. The diagonal cutter is very sharp, I grab them for every cutting job I can. The slip joint pliers have been a life saver, I've been able to grab and hold everything I've used them on. I have to keep my eyes on these, my coworkers keep borrowing these. I'll have to keep them locked up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 4 piece pliers set was a good all around set. There are many jobs that can be done with just these 4 pliers. They are sturdy, and the grips are comfortable to hold even when you need a really strong grip. Some other pliers hurt your hands when having to grip tightly, but these grips make it much easier. They are a great value.

They have cut wood, metal, and plastic that I have tried so far. Very good quality product. I have used Stanley products for many years now because its a name I can trust.
