My husband put everything together, but was furious about the cord. It sounds amazing, nice design, and a slim remote. However the cord that is on the sound bar is short! You have maybe 2 maybe 3 feet of cord you can work with. If you can deal short cords Then this is great for anyone looking for a great sound.

Speaker worked great for a few month. then one of the side speaker stopped working. When i hit the power button the side speaker will connect and play for a few seconds then stop. Firmware is up to date. Disappointed seeing how much these speakers cost and they are already...not working correctly.

And it happens constantly. I don't know if it's because I live in a tiny apartment and have a ton of tech within 5 feet of each other, but the rear speakers (which are only 8 feet from the bar) constantly lose connect for a quarter second or two seconds and then connect again. It's incredibly aggravating, especially at this price.

I'm pairing the JBL sound bar with my 2 apple HomePods and I connect this set of speakers to my Apple TV. The sound quality is superb! I love that I can disconnect the mini speakers and place them around the room. Sometimes I put one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen during parties so that all the guests can stay immersed. Really great quality!

Bought this soundbar a few years ago and the subwoofer randomly stopped working when it wasn't in use. It would not get power with all the general troubleshooting methods. When the product works it's great except for the limited options to fine tune your set up.

I own the JBL bar since December. The sound quality is great, surround and ATMOS support is working as expected. But the bar has a lots of minor probably just firmware issues. First the calibration could not be finished. I had to factory reset the bar to be able to finish calibration. Now I started using the HDMI input to connect an external DJ controller. All of a sudden the sound drops out for several seconds when using HDMI input connection. I am sure it is a problem with the bar, because the sound drops for every source I connect over HDMI input (not arc - this is working fine). Tried again the factory reset, but with no luck. And the calibration is again not working for me... And I have probably the latest firmware installed (20371180).

Brought this about 4weeks ago it was easy to set up..it sound great with my reggae streams the Sub handle it well. Hope my only request can be done through software updates and that is more volume controll for each speaker sets the Way it is now it's too preset hard to refine the separation between bass middle and top. Apart from that love it and would recommend it

This sound bar has everything you need: amazing base that let's you feel what you see, atmosphere that puts you in the middle of it all, and sound clarity I've never heard before, but......sadly the fact that the only way to charge the side speakers is from the bar itself, really brings it down for me. Other sound bars give the option of buying power banks, or specific chargers for the speakers themselves is a quality of life I never thought I'd miss. Some nights I'd forget to return both speakers to the bar, and when I go to watch something to only fi d out I need to wait four hours for them to charge, especially when I first brought them, I'd try to use the remote....which turns of the bar, but not the speakers leaving them idle draining the battery

I expected to really like this soundbar when dropped a grand on it. However, I only like it on movies. When playing music, the bass is very weak. You have to turn up the volume way up to feel any bass, which is really annoying since at those levels everyone in the building can hear what you are listening to. Midrange is too loud. Don't expect to be wowed by this soundbar if you want it for music. I wish JBL could allow users to lower midrange and increase bass to their liking.

I have had this bar for a couple of days and it is almost perfect. JBL, I don't know if you read these customer reviews, but please do one thing to make this product perfect. Please create an app that would allow customers to change the EQ settings. The lows and mids of the bar are absolutely perfect. But it is missing a bit of high end to provide contrast to the low-end sound. If this little bit of high end were present, this would be a perfect sound bar. The sound quality is great. The detachable rears are a game changer and definitely provides a wonderful 3D sound. There just needs to be a tiny bit more high end to really accentuate certain sound high frequency effects. If you did this, or added a bit more high end in an update, that would be incredible. Thank you!
