Quality is important to us, so the coffee brews to its ideal temperature without burning. Please bear in mind that added cold milk and sweeteners can decrease the temperature of the drink. We have some tips to help prepare a hotter beverage to increase your overall enjoyment: • Use hot water to preheat the cup to keep the coffee hotter longer. • Make sure the size of cup you are using matches the size of the blend. A small espresso poured into a large mug, for example, will cool down very quickly. • Clean the brew unit by running the Clean Cycle at least once a week. This also helps eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit. • Descale the machine. Scale build-up can interfere with proper heating and can also affect the taste and brew time of the coffee. We recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first.
